Applications for the Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Agriculture and Life Sciences ARE NOW CLOSED
Selected Scholars will work with K-State faculty in priority research areas that lead to ongoing collaborative partnerships between Australia and K-State to develop skills and capabilities in Agricultural and Life Sciences that result in a stronger bilateral relationship between Australia and the United States.
APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2015 SCHOLARSHIPS LISTED BELOW ARE NOW CLOSED
For academics (generally at Associate Professor or Professor level) to undertake research at a U.S. institution. This scholarship supports a 3-4 month program.
For aspiring mid-career professionals in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors to undertake training or research programs in the U.S. The scholarship is also open to people based in academic institutions whose primary research focus is professional or industry based, i.e. CRC or research institutes. This scholarship supports a 3-4 month program.
For successful researchers who have completed their PhD in the past two to three years (up to five years under extenuating circumstances) to undertake postdoctoral research in the U.S. This scholarship supports a 3-10 month program.
For promising postgraduate students to complete their Australian PhD; to undertake research and/or study in any field that supports a PhD; or to support enrolment in a U.S. postgraduate program such as a Masters. This scholarship supports an 8-10 month program.
This program provides the opportunity for an Australian academic to teach at a U.S. community or liberal arts college to help expand their international perspective and understanding.
