Applications open for Fulbright Alumni Initiative Grant

1 February 2012

The Australian-American Fulbright Commission is pleased to call for applications for the 2012 Fulbright Alumni Initiative Grant (FAIG). The FAIG is designed to support the development of innovative projects that will foster linkages and mutually beneficial relationships between institutions in Australia and the US. It consists of a $10,000 grant in support of an activity that will support both short and long term objectives of ongoing collaboration between institutions across the two countries.

Applications are open to all Australian or American Fulbright alumni who received their Fulbright Scholarships between 1999 and 2009. Visit the FAIG web page for information on how to apply.

The winner of the 2011 FAIG was Professor Timothy Nohe, who was a Fulbright U.S. Senior Scholar in 2006. His grant has gone towards developing an artists’ research and exchange network linking the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in the United States and La Trobe University in Australia.
