NEW MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIPS OPEN – ANNE WEXLER SCHOLARSHIPS

A valuable new Scholarship opportunity is now available for Master’s students in Australia and the United States to study in the partner country for up to two years, Executive Director of the Australian-American Fulbright Commission, Dr Joe Hlubucek, announced today.

“Two Anne Wexler Australian-American Public Policy Scholarships will be awarded annually and valued at up to A$140,000 each,” Dr Hlubucek said.

“One is for an Australian citizen to enrol in a U.S. Master’s degree program in Public Policy, and one is for a U.S. citizen to enrol in an Australian Master’s program in Public Policy.”

The scholarships are administered by the Australian-American Fulbright Commission in Canberra, and funded by the Australian Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.

“The aim of the Anne Wexler Scholarships is to grow Australian-American educational linkages by building the network of public policy experts and to encourage ongoing policy exchange between both countries,” Dr Hlubucek said.

The Anne Wexler Scholarships are part of the Australian Government’s Australia Awards Program, and commemorate the many contributions by the late Mrs Wexler to Australian-American relations.
