DS-2019 (J-1 Status) Procedure

The Exchange Visitor Program, or J-1 visa is used for a variety of educational purposes, including invitations from Postgraduate, Professionals, Senior Scholars and Postdoctoral, coming to the U.S. to pursue temporary educational activities under the Fulbright Program. The U.S. Department of State (CIES and IIE) through the Fulbright Commission is responsible for administering and supervising the J-1 Program.

Exchange Visitor Visa (J-Visa)

This visa category is designed for applicants planning to teach, study, research, demonstrate special skills or receive graduate medical or other training in programs approved by the U.S. State Department.

Fulbright Scholar Final Report

This form is required by the Commission at the conclusion of your Fulbright Scholarships to provide valuable feedback to those who administer the program and will be forwarded to the Commission's Board and U.S. Department of State. Postgraduates note: Final payment will be processed on receipt of your final report.
