Peter was a 2009 Fulbright Senior Scholar in the field of theoretical physics, and during 2010 worked in the Department of Statistics, University of California at Berkeley, and in the Department of Physics, University of Texas at Austin. Peter is also convenor of the Tasmanian chapter of the Australian Association of Alexander von Humboldt Fellows.

Wendy was a Fulbright Professional Scholar at the Oregon State University in 1996. At present she works at the Australian Taxation Office.
