Applications for Fulbright Scholarships to Australia are managed in the United States through the Institute of International Education (IIE) and the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES). See below for more information.
Australia has a wide range of excellent educational institutions, including 38 universities offering various forms of undergraduate and postgraduate study and research (see links below for more detail). Over 180,000 international students come to Australia to study each year.
Australia is a politically stable, safe and friendly country that welcomes international students and visitors. It has excellent living standards, with lower studying and living costs when generally compared with the United States.
Australian universities have more institutional links with U.S. universities than any other country in the world and Australian universities annually host over 5,000 United States study abroad students.
