Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarships

Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarships: General Category.  For current American university postgraduate students to undertake research towards their American PhD and/or undertake a year of research in cooperation with an Australian university or educational institution; or to support enrolment in an Australian postgraduate program. This scholarship supports an 8-10 month program. For further information contact your Fulbright Advisor at your U.S. university or go to IIE.

The distinguished Fulbright U.S. Alumni Scholarship is annually granted to the top ranked U.S. postgraduate applicant to Australia and is supported by the generous donations of U.S. Alumni.

Also available are a Fulbright CSIRO Postgraduate Scholarship, and a Fulbright-Anne Wexler Master's Scholarship in Public Policy.

Fulbright Professional Scholarships

Fulbright Professional Scholarships in Climate Change and Clean Energy were announced by the Prime Minister of Australia the Hon Julia Gillard and U.S. Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton in November 2010, they were established to increase collaboration on clean energy research and to address the social challenges of responding and adapting to the impact of climate change. For further information and application forms go to CIES.

Fulbright Senior Scholarships

For academics (generally Associate Professor and/or Professor) to undertake research and/or teaching at an Australian institution. This scholarship supports a 3-6 month program. For further information and application forms go to CIES.
