Sarah has won a Fulbright Postgraduate Award and will undertake a Master of Laws (LL.M) through coursework at Harvard Law School focusing on jurisprudence, international law and human rights law. Sarah Knuckey is a graduate of Arts/Law with First Class Honours from the University of Western Australia. Sarah has received several awards including the Frank Edward Parsons Memorial Prize for Law awarded to the student who has shown the most merit in the course , the KCF Keall Prize in Law and the Butterworths Prize.

Sarah has previously worked as a judge’s associate with the Honourable Justice Michael Kirby and internationally with the Cambodian Office of the United National High Commissioner Human Rights. Due to her passion for human rights, Sarah has actively volunteered with various associations including AIDS Council of Western Australia (WA), Centre for Advocacy, Support and Education Refugees, Legal Aid Clerk of WA and the indigenous association Yamatji Land and Sea Council. Beyond Cambodia, Sarah has travelled and worked in China teaching English.
