Fulbright Gregory Schwartz Enrichment Grants

In 2006 Claire and Steven Schwartz established the Fulbright Gregory Schwartz Enrichment Grants in memory of their son Gregory Schwartz who had a love of history and a strong interest in the United States.

The Fulbright Gregory Schwartz Enrichment Grants are aimed at assisting Australian Fulbright Postgraduate Scholars enrich their experience in the United States.

Up to four travel grants, valued at up to $A1,250, are available to support Australian Fulbright Postgraduate Scholars attend a conference; exhibit art work; present their professional work; and/or visit other research institutions.

Application Information

To apply for the grant please download and complete the application form (.doc, 109k) outlining:

  • Details of the activity / event you wish to attend
  • How the activity / event will enrich your Fulbright program
  • Potential outcomes for yourself, your host and home institutions and professional field.

Applications will be considered twice a year in September and February. All applications will be reviewed by the Fulbright Commission and applicants will be notified a week after the closing date.

Enrichment Grant Report

Following the grant, you will be required to write a grant report (.doc, 94k) of your experience and submit it to the Fulbright Commission two weeks after the activity / event. The reports will be placed on the Fulbright Commission web site, in Fulbright publications and shared with the sponsors. Scholars may also present outcomes of their experience at Alumni events in the U.S. and Australia.
